What’s Joey, uSW and WoopWoop?

Joey is a low-power device designed and built to manage sensors and to send data to the cloud every few minutes via the mobile, cellular or fixed networks. Joey connects to devices by USB or com. All sensor data is also retained locally on the microSD card

uSW (MicroSoundweb) is the first application using the Joey Platform and designed to operate a Norsonic Sound Level meter and save noise measurements onto the cloud.

WoopWoop is mobile friendly site to retain and display the cloud collected data. Accessed via a dashboard, WoopWoop has many functions to assist in maintaining and reporting of the monitoring data. The platform is designed to handle multiple sensor feeds per monitoring site.

Our engineers are designing and adding new monitoring programs to suit Joey. The latest addition is a sound camera with real-time video display of noise levels and includes events, emailing etc. The Sound Camera App has been developed for Axis CCTV cameras. Extensions include number plate recognition and sound tracking.

If you have a need to monitor noise and prefer an automated cloud based system, then this is a low-cost solution. Currently we are supporting Norsonic sound level meters and this device an be attached to your existing sound level meters.

Checking your noise logging equipment is working is now as close as your phone or computer.

Built on the Joey Platform, we are pleased to present MicroSoundweb (uSW). uSW is a low power, low cost and very smart solution for your noise monitoring needs. uSW is currently configured to connect Norsonic sound level meters onto the cloud. We support worldwide 2G, 3G, 4G, LTE CAT 1 connectivity with the low-cost subscription. One SIM with global coverage in over 150 countries via a network of carriers. Watch this space for future Joey platform supported sensor announcements.

Easy to use

Connect uSW to your Norsonic Sound Level meter, switch it on and the system is immediately connected to the cloud, automatically saving period statistics. Check and change logging settings online! Built-in reporting tools. Use for either short term or permanent noise logging. Create your own sites, assign devices, upload photos of the equipment, all from your mobile devices or desktop. Joey Platform may be upgraded over the air or reassigned to other sensors when available.

Designed for the user

We have developed a simple-to-use flexible system. There are no switches on uSW. The monitoring period, date and time are all configured online. Joey can be completely reconfigured remotely and over the air; changing monitoring profiles or to other sensors.

We believe its good to share. You can lend (or hire) your Joey to others. You control that process. We also believe you would like to invite a guest (perhaps a client or customer) to view the data monitoring site. You can decide who to invite. Maybe you would like multiple sensors at one monitoring site. We built WoopWoop to be flexible and give you control!
